Sonnenalm, known as “Sony”, is our Holland import found for us by Annie Kartsotis at North Shore Farm, LLC. Sony was imported as a 9 year old with the intentions of continuing her breeding career here in the USA. While in Holland, Sony was the highest scoring mare at her Mare Performance Exam in Europe receiving an overall score of 8.36.  Even though Sony was bred for dressage, she was schooling 2’9” courses before being retired as a broodmare due to an unforeseen injury while under saddle. Sony has 3 beautiful foals in Holland which all inherited her effortless movement. Genetically, Sonnenalm will be able to produce black, black bay, or bay horses.
